ব্রণের বিড়ম্বনায় পড়েননি এমন মানুষ কমই আছেন। বিশেষ করে তরুণ- তরুণীরা ব্রণের উৎপাতে বেশি ভোগেন। এই ব্রণ মূলত টিনএজারদের সমস্যা। এ বয়সে যখন মুখের সৌন্দর্যের প্রতি সবাই আকর্ষণবোধ ও প্রয়োজনীয়তা অনুভব করে ঠিক সে বয়সেই মুখে এই বিশ্রী গোটাগুলো দেখা দেয়, যা তাদের অন্যতম দুশ্চিন্তার কারণ হয়ে দাঁড়ায়।

কোন বয়সে বেশি হয় 

১৩ থেকে ১৮ বছর বয়সে এটি বেশি হয়। তবে ২০ থেকে ৩০ বছর বয়স পর্যন্ত এটি হতে দেখা যায়। টিনএজারদের মধ্যে শতকরা নব্বই ভাগের ক্ষেত্রেই কম অথবা বেশি পরিমাণে এটি হয়ে থাকে। ২০ বছর বয়সের পর থেকে এটি ধীরে ধীরে কমতে থাকে।

বিভিন্ন অবস্থায় ব্রণ

• ট্রপিক্যাল একনি :– অতিরিক্ত গরম এবং বাতাসের আর্দ্রতা বেশি হলে পিঠে, উরুতে ব্রণ হয়ে থাকে।
• প্রিমিন্সট্রুয়াল একনি :– কোনো কোনো মহিলার মাসিকের সাপ্তাহ খানেক আগে ৫-১০টির মতো ব্রণ মুখে দেখা দেয়।
• একনি কসমেটিকা :– কোনো কোনো প্রসাধনী লাগাতার ব্যবহারে মুখে অল্প পরিমাণে ব্রণ হয়ে থাকে।
• একনি ডিটারজিনেকস :– মুখ অতিরিক্ত ভাবে সাবান দিয়ে ধুলেও ( দৈনিক ১/২ বারের বেশি ) ব্রণের পরিমাণ বেড়ে যায়।
• স্টেরয়েড একনি :– স্টেরয়েড ঔষধ সেবনে হঠাৎ করে ব্রণ দেখা দেয়। মুখে স্টেরয়েড, যেমন– বটানোবেট ডার্মোভেট জাতীয় । ঔষুধ একাধারে অনেকদিন ব্যবহারে ব্রণের পরিমান বেড়ে যায়।

ব্রণের প্রকারভেদ 

ব্রণের প্রকারভেদ অনেক। তবে সাধারণভাবে যে-প্রকারের ব্রণ হয়ে থাকে তারই বর্ণনা এখানে দেয়া হচ্ছে । এটি লোমের গোড়ায় হয়ে থাকে । ব্রণের মূলে যে জিনিস তার নাম কেমডো ( চাপ দিলে ভাতের দানার মতো বের হয় ), তবে কখনও কখনও শুধু শুধু দানা আকারে, পুঁজ সহকারে গহ্ববরযুক্ত দানা বা বড় গোটার আকারে দেখা দিতে পারে। আবার এক প্রকারের ব্রণ দেখা যায় যাতে চাপ দিলে শক্ত সাদা সুতার মত বেরোয় যাকে অনেকে শালও বলে থাকেন। 

শরীরের কোথায় হয়

সাধারণত মুখে যেমন গাল, নাক, থুতনি ও কপালে হতে দেখা যায়। তবে শরীরের উপরের অংশে ও হাতের ওপরের অংশেও হরহামেশাই হতে দেখা যায়।

ব্রণ হওয়ার কারণ 

বংশগত প্রভাব একটি অন্যতম গুরুত্বপুর্ণ কারণ। স্বাভাবিকভাবেই লোমের গোড়ায় একটি ব্যাকটেরিয়া থাকে, যার নাম প্রোপাওনি ব্যাকটেরিয়াম একনি। বয়ঃসন্ধিকালে এড্রোজেন হরমোনের প্রভাবে সেবাসিয়াস গ্রন্হি থেকে সেবামের নিঃসরণ বেড়ে যায়। এই সেবাম থেকে ফ্রি ফ্যাটি এসিড তৈরি করে লোমের গোড়ার উপস্হিত ব্যাকটেরিয়া। ফলে লোমের গোড়ায় প্রদাহের সৃষ্টি হয় এই ফ্যাটি এসিডের প্রভাবে। এর পাশাপাশি জমা হয় লোমের গোড়ায় কেরাটিন নামক পদার্থ। ফলে সেবাসিয়াস গ্রন্হিপথ বন্ধ হতে থাকে এই কেরাটিন, লিপিড আর মেলানিন পদার্থ দিয়ে, যা ব্লাক হেড বা ‘হোয়াইট হেড’ হিসেবে দেখা দিয়ে থাকে।

ব্রণের সঙ্গে খাওয়ার সম্পর্ক :- অনেকের ধারণা তৈলাক্ত খাবার খেলে বুঝি ব্রণ হয়। সত্যিকার অর্থে কথাটি সত্য নয়। কোন প্রকার খাদ্য দ্রব্যের সঙ্গে ব্রণের কোনো সম্পর্ক আছে বলে জানা যায় না।

ব্রণ ও ক্রিম :- যেসব ক্রিমে তৈলাক্ত উপাদান থাকে যাদের মুখে বেশি ব্রণ হয় তাদের সেসব ক্রিম ব্যবহার করা উচিত নয়। মনে রাখতে হবে ক্রিম যদি তৈলাক্ত হয় তবে তা ব্রণ রোগীদের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা যাবে না।
রোগ নির্ণয় :- ব্রণের মাত্রা নিরূপণের কিছু পন্থা আছে,যা নিম্নোক্ত:

• লিডস গ্রীডিং : সংক্রামতা এবং অসংক্রামতা নির্ধারণ করে(বিস্তার ০–১০)।
• কুকস গ্রেডিং স্কেল: ছবি ব্যবহার করে মাত্রা নির্ধারণ করে(সবচেয়ে কম ০,সবচেয়ে বেশি ৮)।
• পিলসবারি স্কেল: মাত্রা নির্ধারণ করে ১ (সবচেয়ে কম) - ৪ (সবচেয়ে বেশি)।

ব্রণ দূর করতে চারটি দারুণ ফেসপ্যাক

কমলার খোসা কমাবে ব্রণ :- কমলা লেবুর খোসা শুকিয়ে মিহি গুঁড়ো করে নিন। চন্দন পাউডার, মুলতানি মাটি, কমলালেবুর খোসার গুঁড়ো মিশিয়ে ভালো করে মিলিয়ে নিন। এই মিশ্রণের মধ্যে দুই চামচ দুধও মিশিয়ে নিতে পারেন। মুখে লাগিয়ে কিছুক্ষণ রাখার পর ধুয়ে নিন। এই প্যাকটা নিয়মিত ব্যবহারে ত্বকের উজ্জ্বলতা বাড়বে, ব্রণের উপদ্রব কমবে, ব্রণের দাগও দূর হয়ে যাবে।

নিম ঠেকায় ব্রণ :- চার/পাঁচটা নিম পাতা ভালো করে ধুয়ে পিষে নিন। এর মধ্যে এক চামচ মুলতানি মাটি, অল্প গোলাপ জল মিশিয়ে প্যাক তৈরি করুন। প্যাকটা যদি গাঢ় হয়ে যায় তাহলে এর মধ্যে গোলাপ জল মিশিয়ে নিন। মুখে লাগিয়ে বেশ কিছুক্ষণ রেখে দিন। প্যাকটা মুখে শুকিয়ে গেলে হালকা পানি দিয়ে মুখটা ধুয়ে ফেলুন। মুখে ব্রণ থাকলে দ্রুত সেরে যাবে। ব্রণ অথাও কমাবে।লবঙ্গ দারুণ 

ফলদায়ক :- লবঙ্গ মূলত মসলা হিসেবে পরিচিত হলেও ব্রণ সারাতে তা খুবই কার্যকর। লবঙ্গের তেল দিয়ে ত্বক মাসাজ করা খুবই উপকারী। ত্বকে ব্রণের সংক্রমণ বেড়ে গেলে লবঙ্গ গুঁড়ো করে তাতে গোলাপজল মিশিয়ে পেস্ট তৈরি করুন। ব্রণের জায়গাগুলোতে মিশ্রণের মোটা প্রলেপ দিন। ২০ মিনিট রেখে ধুয়ে ফেলুন।

আলোভেরা মানিয়ে যায় সব ধরণের ত্বকে :- আলোভেরা রস নিন নিন এক কাপ। এর সাথে মেশাণ এক টেবিল চামচ পাতিলেবুর রস এবং প্রয়োজন অনুযায়ী চালের গুঁড়ো। মিশ্রণটি মুখসহ পুরো শরীরে লাগান। ২০-২৫ মিনিট মাসাজ করে গোসল করে ফেলুন।

আরোগ্যকারী হোমিও চিকিত্সা 

রোগীর ব্রণ আক্রান্তের গুরুত্ব বিবেচনা করে চিকিৎসা পদ্ধতি নির্ধারণ করতে হয়। উপরে বর্ণিত ফেসপ্যাক অনেকের কাছেই সময় অপচয় বা বিরক্তিকর মনে হতে পারে। তাছাড়া অনেকের ক্ষেত্রে এগুলি ভালো ফলদায়ক নাও হতে পারে। তাই সবচেয়ে ভালো হয় নিশ্চিত আরোগ্যকারী হোমিও চিকিত্সা গ্রহণ করা। ব্রণ সমস্যায় ভুগলে ভালো একজন হোমিওপ্যাথের সাথে যোগাযোগ করে চিকিত্সা নিন।

বকফুল এর পরিচয়-

এই ফুলের বাংলা নাম- বক বা বকফুল (Sesbania grandiflora)- অন্যান্য নামের মধ্যে Agati,Agasti, Drigapalaka, Gaach-munga উল্লেখযোগ্য। এটি Fabaceae পরিবারের অন্তর্গত একটি উদ্ভিদ।

বকফুল-

বকফুল মাঝারি ঝাড় জাতীয় বৃক্ষ। ফুলের আকার-আকৃতি গাছের ডালে বকের ঠোঁটের মতো বোঁটায় ঝুলে থাকতে দেখায় বলে এরকম নামকরণ। বাংলাদেশের প্রায় সব অঞ্চলেই বকফুল জন্মে থাকে। নানা রঙের থাকলেও সাদা, লাল, গোলাপি; এই ৩ রঙের বকফুলই দেখতে পাওয়া যায়। তবে বাংলাদেশে সাদা ও লাল রঙের বকফুল বেশি পাওয়া যায়।

বকফুল সবজি হিসেবে মুখরোচক, সুস্বাদু ও পুষ্টিকর। বকফুল বড়া, ভাজি, সবজি করে খাওয়া যায়। এটি দেহের রোগপ্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা বাড়ায়, দাঁত ও হাড় মজবুত করে, ডায়াবেটিস ও রক্তে কোলেস্টেরলের মাত্রা নিয়ন্ত্রণে রাখে। তাছাড়া খাদ্যনালির ক্যান্সার প্রতিরোধ করে ও আয়োডিনের ঘাটতি পূরণেও সহায়ক।

গুনাগুণ

বকফুলের বড়া বাংলার মানুষের কাছে একটি পছন্দের খাবার।এর ঔষুধি গুণ আছে প্রচুর । জ্বর, ফোলা ও ব্যাথাবেদনা সারাতে, বাতের ব্যথায় শিকড় চূর্ণ জলের সাথে গুলে ব্যাথা জায়গায় ঘষলে আরাম পাওয়া যায়। চুলকানি-পাঁচড়া সারাতে কম্বোডিয়ায় বাকল চূর্ণ লাগানো হয়। কৃমি ও জ্বর সারাতে পাতার রস খাওয়ানো হয়। গ্যাস্ট্রিক আলসার ও বুক জ্বালা নিরাময়, রাতকানা রোগের ঔষুধ হিসাবে গাছের পাতার রস ব্যবহার করা হয়, করেকোষ্ঠকাঠিন্য দূর করতে, চোখের স্নায়ু জোরদার করেবার্ধক্য ও হাড় দুর্বলতা প্রতিরোধ করতে বকফুল পাতার রস উপকারী।
